Rs. 90 M budget for Mahottari likely to be frozen

BARDIBAS: Budget of around Rs.90 million allocated for Mahottari district for the current fiscal year is likely to be frozen.
There are high chances of budget freeze that was allocated by World Bank and various Ministries due to delay in tender bidding processes.
The World Bank had allocated Rs. 56 million to the DDC for the bridge construction and development of the roads and while Rs. 40 million was allocated by the National Planning Commission for various projects through DDC.
The budget is in the state of freeze as the stakeholders delayed the contract arrangement, DDC Officals said.
