Rukum campus shut against tuition fee hike

RUKUM: Protesting against the tuition fee hike in the Tribhuvan University (TU), the students unions on Tuesday padlocked the administration of Musikot Khalanga Multiple Campus in the district on Tuesday.
They have demanded that the TU rolled back the decision to hike fees.
Accusing the campus administration of remaining indifferent towards their demands, they said the campus will remain shut indefinitely until their demands are addressed.
Campus Chief Vishwa Nath Gyawali, however, said that campus itself cannot revoke the University’s decision.
