KATHMANDU: Siddhartha Development Bank Ltd (SDBL) and Bank of Kathmandu joined their hands to expand Trust Remit service across the country. Under the agreement, the remittance service provider, SDBL, has added 46 branches of BoK for the payment to its constumers. Including these branches number of Trust Remit’s payment providing outlets have reached 650. — HNS

FNCCI-KU sign MoU

KATHMANDU: Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) and Kathmandu University (KU) have signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly initiate research and studies, accreditation and quality control, skill development and training, internship, academic programs among other activities. The MoU envisages a comprehensive meeting at least two times a year. KU is expected to organize training programmes for FNCCI members. — HNS

Suzuki service camp

KATHMANDU: Auto Ave Pvt Ltd is opening service camp–Dashain Suzuki Service Mega Camp– to mark Hindu’s greatest festival Dashain.The camp will offer special discounts to the Maruti Suzuki car owners in spare parts, lubricants, labour charge and others. The camp will take place on Sunday and Monday.

Sambad new training

KATHMANDU: Sambad Technologies signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ethics Advanced Technology Ltd (EATL), Dhaka, Bangladesh for collaboration on infrastructure projects, sales and support of information and communication technology product and services and training and consulting services in Nepal and Bangladesh.

Gurans’ sales counter

KATHMANDU: Gurans Life Insurance Company has opened a sales counter in Dolakha’s Charikot. The insurance company’s managing director Bal Mukunda Rupakheti inaugurated the branch amid a function on Sunday. On the opening day, the branch was able to sell insurance policies to 30 individuals and collected premium worth Rs 150,000.

Janata’s new branch

KATHMANDU: Janata Bank has opened its 16th branch in Machhapokharai of Kathmandu on Wednesday. The bank has also introduced new festive scheme of ‘Janata Bank Ko Nagad Upahar Samridhdha Dashain Tihar’ under which the Samridhdha Dashain Tihar account holder will get cash gift euqal to one per cent of deposit amount.
