Sahara sports journalism award to Baral

POKHARA: Youth journalist Dinanath Baral has been honoured with the Sahara Sport Journalism Award on the occasion of the sixth anniversary and the seventh general convention of Sahara Club Pokhara.
The Club honored Baral in recognition of his contribution to sports by being based in Kaski district. The award carries a purse of Rs. 5,555 and a letter of appreciation.
Similarly, the Club awarded its member Min Bahadur Gurung for his excellent work in his capacity as the member of the working committee of the Club.
The Club has also started constructing a building of Sahara Academy at Dobilla of Pokhara at a cost of Rs. 12.7 million. The building will be used for providing education and sports training to the underprivileged children.
About 80 per cent construction works of the building has been completed.
