Police said at least eight houses of five local families were gutted to cinder when a fire broke out from the kitchen of local Juman Miyan at around 4:00 am.
SAPTARI: Property worth one million rupees was gutted in a fire at Pato VDC in Saptari district this morning.
Police said at least eight houses of five local families were gutted to cinder when a fire broke out from the kitchen of local Juman Miyan at around 4:00 am.
Eight houses including three of Jamun Miyan, three of Noor Mohammad, one each of Mahid Miyan and Bachha Miyan were completely destroyed in the fire. The fire was brought under control after an hour by locals and police.
