Sexagenarian appears for SLC exam

BIRGUNJ: A 66-year-old man is appearing in SLC exam, which started from Thursday.
Aash Bahadur Gurung of Bijayabasti in Parsa district is the SLC examinee. He is sitting in SLC exam from the examination centre situated at Sharashwoti Higher Secondary School.
He told RSS that his quest for education encouraged him to continue study even at this old age. "I want to earn higher education after passing SLC," he said.
According to District Education Officer Kedar Tiwari, 5,455 students are appearing in SLC exam from this district this year. Including 12 in the district headquarters, there are 18 examination centers in Parsa.
