So for that very reason, stores at Suraj Arcade, Bishal Bazaar and Durbar Marg could be your stop to hunt for that perfect style you deserve, which is also suitable for your budget.

Brands and originals

Watch and See at Durbar Marg can be your stop to shop for the perfect shades. Adjacent to Nanglo Bakery, the brands available in the store are Espirit, Tru Trussardi, Elle, Polaroid et cetera where Basu Tandukar, employee at Watch and See shares, “These are branded shades and are imported from Europe.”

The store displays a particular brand in an elegant way. The display is arranged in such a way where it’s easy to browse through, compare from ranges available and pick the right one.

B-21 Shop and Gift House inside Bishal Bazaar, New Road also deal with original branded sunglasses. At B-21 Shop brands like Ray Ban, Guess, Tommy Hilfiger, Vogue, Joop, LBM, Gucci, Chanel, Dior, Salvatore Ferragamo and CK are available.

About the range of shades, Daya Acharju, employee at B-21 informs, “We have up to 15 varieties available and all the shades have the capacity of 400 UV protection.”

Likewise at Gift House, brands like Versace, Pierre Cardin, Armani, Bvlgarl, Prada and more are available where Birendra Shakya, proprietor of Gift House says, “We have more than 14 brands right now and brands like Burberry, Arnette, Persol, Hugo Boss and Tom Ford are the other brands which will arrive very soon.”

About the product, Sonam Gurung, a customer at Gift House expresses, “I am a regular customer here and it’s been four years since I have been shopping here. The products are genuine and

original.”

At B-21 and Gift House the products are imported from Italy.

Shades for all

If branded shades are not for your budget, but can’t resist to flaunt your style statement, then stores at Suraj Arcade, Makhan Tole can be of some relief. On the ground floor of the Arcade, there are around 10 stores that deal in shades which are copies of the branded shades. Stores here deal in wholesale as well as retail. The shades are imported from China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Bangkok.

About the products at Suraj Arcade, Bijaya Malla, Salesman at Royal Enterprises informs, “We sell duplicate shades with the brand name and features of the original shades. But we don’t cheat our customers by saying the products are original. And the products here come at a minimal price.”

Shabitri Shrestha, a customer at Suraj Arcade mentions, “I have many choices to choose from here and I don’t need to bargain as the price is very

reasonable.”

Likewise, as you enter the gate of Bishal Bazaar, the stores outside the building sell copies of original shades. About the products Mahesh Karmacharya, owner of Shree Climax informs, “Jullndas and Duwei Chinese brands are of good quality.” According to him, the popular brands opted for by customers are Gucci, Armani and Ray Ban.
