The birds from Siberia arrive in the watersheds of Shuklaphanta Wildlife Reserve every year in search of warm habitat after the watersheds in the northern poles were covered with snow.

The Siberian birds return to their original habitats, thanks to lack of water and foods, and rise in temperature in the Shuklaphanta Wildlife Reserve.

Basically, the Siberian birds roam and collect their food around Ranital, Kalikich, Salgaudi, Sikarital, Pyaratal, Jhimlatal and other areas of the Reserve.

According to Reserve, more than 300 species of Siberian birds arrive here every year.
