LA-JTI JUNIOR TENNIS

LALITPUR: Little Angel’s (LA) School is organising the sixth LA-JTI Inter-school Junior Open Tennis Tournament here from August 27. Around 350 players from 45 schools are expected to participate in the tournament supported by Junior Tennis Initiative (JTI). Participating players will compete in the U-9, U-10, U-12, U-16, U-18 boys’ and girls’ singles apart from U-14 boys’ and girls’ doubles categories.

LALITPUR: Defending champions Image Channel and Nepal Television (NTV) set the fifth Media Cup Football Tournament title clash here at the Buddhi Bikash Khel Mandal grounds on Wednesday. Image defeated Terai Television 4-2 in penalty shootout after a 1-1 stalemate in the normal time. NTV, meanwhile, hammered Gorkhapatra 5-0.
