KATHMANDU: Nepal – China Executive Council is going to organise sixth South Asia China Trade Fair 2011 on September 15 - 19. The fair will cover South Asian and Chinese products which have good demand in the both regions, said the council.
The fair will include industrial raw materials, medicine and health products, machinery, automobiles, construction machinery, agriculture machinery and tools, electronics, textiles and garments and tourism, they said, adding that it is expected to be visited by over 2,000. The South Asia China Trade Fair 2011 is an appropriate venue for the South Asian and Chinese Companies to show their quality products to Nepalis, to discuss with entrepreneurs for the possibilities of working together and to explore the areas of investment.
“It’s also an opportunity for the businessmen and entrepreneurs to evaluate South Asian and Chinese products here at home,” the organisers said, adding that the fair will mainly exhibit automobiles, cement plant, hydro electric plant, industrial machinery, food processing and packaging machines like machinery of trucks and busses, passengers cars, FWD vehicles, motorcycles, electric vehicles apartfrom, construction machinery, materials, hardware, sanitary ware, kitchenware, home lighting. The fair will also have Medicine and Health Products.
To supplement South Asia China Trade Fair, the organising committee is also organising Dashain Bazaar at the same time to attract more visitors in the expo.
According to the organiser, ‘Dashain Bazaar’ is basically designed to facilitate Dashain shopping in an extravagant way.
