COLOMBO: An official says Sri Lanka's sports minister has dissolved an interim committee governing cricket with plans to hold elections as required by International Cricket Council.
Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage on Tuesday sacked a five-member committee which he appointed five months ago and appointed his secretary as competent authority over Sri Lanka Cricket until elections are held this year.
