KATHMANDU: After being kicked out from Madhesi Janaadhikar Forum-Democratic a few days ago for what Chairman Bijaya Kumar Gachhadar called acting against the party, Sharad Singh Bhandari has declared on Monday to launch his own party on June 27.
In the press conference, organised by those who have resigned from the MJF-D, to make public their future strategy, announced that they will set up a new party during the national gathering of Bhandari’s supporters, slated for June 27.
According to Bhandari, name, ideology and party law will be finalised during the gathering.
Nine Central Committee members of Bijaya Kumar Gachhadar-led MJF-D, including six members of the erstwhile Constituent Assembly, had resigned from the party on Sunday blaming Gachhadar of sidelining the issues of Madhes to remain in power.
