Sujata dubs PM Khanal as failure

BIRATNAGAR: Nepali Congress (NC) leader Sujata Koirala said Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal should quit as he failed to expand the cabinet.
She said, “Khanal has already failed. So he can no longer run the government.” She made this statement while speaking at a press meet organised by Press Union in Biratnagar on Tuesday morning.
Khanal and UCPN-Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ tried to betray the general people by signing the secret pact, the former Deputy Prime Minister said, adding that the seven-point agreement should be scrapped.
Khanal could not even garner the support from his own party and is pushing the country to danger, she added.
She said that Khanal and Prachanda hatched conspiracy against her party NC not to let it join the government and claimed that the government is impossible if the NC is bypassed.
Politics is all about ‘give and take’ Sujata said, adding that in the present situation one should start thinking about national interests instead of personal one.
