Champion gymnast at 86
Johanna Quass from Germany has become a superstar after winning a gymnastics competition aged 86. More than two million people have watched Quaas perform on the parallel bars, completing rotations, turns, spins and cartwheels. Quaas wowed the audience at the 2012 Cottbus World Cup in Cottbus, Germany. She has won 11 medals at the German senior citizen championships. She has a long history of athletic excellence. In 1954, she was a member of the handball team that took the Eastern German Championship.
