KATHMANDU: Ratna Rajya Laxmi Campus today felicitated Shiromani Dhungana, a journalist working at THT, for scoring the highest marks among students who earned a Masters degree in Journalism and Mass Communication at Tribhuvan University this year.
University Vice-chancellor Prof Hira Kaji Maharjan conferred a gold medal and certificate on Dhungana at a programme organised to mark the 52nd anniversary of the campus.
The campus also felicitated Pankaj Adhikari for scoring the highest marks among undergraduate students in the campus.
Vice-chancellor Maharjan said Tribhuvan University should enhance its academic calibre in the days to come. “Tribhuvan University – the oldest and most renowned university of the country – should produce students having sound skills so they can compete in the market.”
