BIRATNAGAR: A school teacher here has attempted to rape his girl student after inviting her to his house to know her School Leaving Certificate (SLC) examination results, it was reported on Sunday.

Headmaster of the Janapriya Secondary School in Babiyabirta-5 of Morang, Ananda Dev Rajbanshi invited his 15-year-old student who lived in front of his home after the SLC results were announced.

It was 8 p.m. in the evening when Rajbanshi made a telephone call asking his student to come to his house at Karsiya Bazaar in Sorbhag VDC-3 of the district.

However, after announcing her the results, the headmaster caught by her hand and tried to mistreat her. The girl retaliated and retold the incident to her mother.

Following the revelation, villagers surrounded the headmaster's house and also beat him up.

Accepting the allegation, headmaster Rajbanshi apologized and also signed a written agreement to pay a compensation of Rs. 100,000 within a month.

The Headmaster, however, later said that the villagers forced him to accept the incident. He argued that he had just patted his student on her back to congratulate her for the success in the exams.

The girl student has passed the SLC examinations in first division.

the teacher should be kept in jail coz the money cant bring back the girl respect for herself the teacher should be kept infront of all people upon a donkey naked and kept mud on her face and shoes bitting to him so he will realise tht he tied to rape a girl who is lik her daughter angi thapa, ringroad
