Transport service to Syarpu lake

RUKUM: Transport service to Syarpu Lake, one of the famous tourist destinations in Rapti zone, has been started from Friday. Transport service to Syarpu Lake from Musikot, the district headquarters of Rukum, was started after the completion of Chhinket-Syarpudaha road construction. Locals and entrepreneurs have expressed their confidence that tourism related activities would increase and the number of domestic and foreign tourists also would go up in the lake after the beginning of the transport service. The road was constructed by the Rural Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Project under the District Development Committee. The road was handed over to the locals on Friday itself.
