Tuskers trample two to death

BARA: Two persons were killed when a herd of wild elephants attacked them at Sapahi VDC of the district on Thursday night.
The deceased has been identified as Suraj Adhikari (70) of Sapahi-7 and Sudarshan Chaudhary (27) of Sapahi VDC-8, said District Police Office Bara.
Both of them were trampled to death while they were making attempts to escape as elephants had started destroying their houses, said Police.
Earlier on Monday, Sharada Sharma (44) and Debika Acharya (45) of Sapahi VDC-4, Bhalangkhor were killed when a herd of wild elephants attacked them.
