KATHMANDU: After two disruptions over the division among the participants on who would be the speaker from the Bhojupura State Committee and the issues of financial irregularities, the UCPN-M seventh plenum has resumed again in Bhrikutimandap.
The plenum has started after the politburo meeting of the party struck a deal allowing both the majority group loyal to party chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and minority one loyal to vice chairman Dr. Baburam Bhattarai to deliver their views on the political document in the plenum.

According to some of the participants, the latest disruption had started when Baliram Saha's name was announced as the speaker from the Bhojpura State Committee.
Saha is a Bhattarai loyal, while Dahal's supporters who have majority in the State Committee took exception over the matter and headed towards the podium to protest.
Most of the speakers who had spoken till today, representing their respective groups, had criticised the government and Prime Minsiter Dr. Bhattarai for BIPPA with India, purported handover of the management of Tribhuvan International Airport to an Indian company and crackdown on the squattters. This had made the Bhattarai side more hostile.
