DHULIKHEL: CPN- UML leader KP Sharma Oli today alleged that the UCPN- Maoist was hell-bent on amassing the wealth.
Speaking at a programme in Kavre’s Dhulikhel, Oli said, “Maoists have renounced their communist ideals and are occupied in amassing massive wealth.”
The CPN- UML leader further said that Maoists were adamant on pushing the country into medieval period by bringing up the subject of ethnicity. “Raising the issue of ethnicity by neglecting the issues of development and industrialisation will push the country into dark ages,” Oli added.
Coming down heavily on the Maoists, Oli charged that Maoists were responsible for Constituent Assembly’s dissolution without promulgating a new statute. “Maoists created a political and constitutional vacuum by dissolving the CA,” he added.
On a different note, Oli warned to unseat the caretaker prime minister and form a new government under the leadership of non-Maoist party adding that only the consensus government will help resolve the political crisis.
