UDMF calls meet for Nov 1 to take call on CA rebirth

KATHMANDU: The United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) has called its meeting for November 1, Thursday to take a final decision whether to reinstate the Constituent Assembly or to go for fresh elections.
A meeting of the Front that took place at the Army Integration Special Committee Secretariat at New Baneshwor after the three-party meeting took a decision to this end, said Chairman of the Sadbhawana Party and Minister for Health, Rajendra Mahato.
The UDMF has felt the need to make its views on the present hot political agenda public since most of the parties are in the mood of going for new elections, he said.
The meeting has been called for 2:00 pm Thursday and it is expected to discuss about the four-point agreement reached between the Front and the UCPN-Maoist in course of the formation of the incumbent government, the budget issues and the government activities, it is learnt.
