UML chief confident of timely statute

JAJARKOT: CPN-UML Chairman Jhala Nath Khanal has asserted that the new constitution would be promulgated in the stipulated timeframe.
Talking to the leaders of political parties, representatives of various organizations and civil society, and journalists from Jajarkot over phone, Khanal said the new constitution would address the aspirations of the women, indigenous nationalities, Dalits, the oppressed and the backward classes.
In course of the conversation, the Jajarkot dwellers demanded inclusion of Jajarkot into the Karnali region while federalizing the country.
