Kin of Adhikary have filed a petition against local UCPN-Maoist VDC leaders Hari Bhusal‚ Min Bahadur BK and Bharat Timilsina‚ said police.

RATNANAGAR: An unidentified group attacked Chairman of the Gardi Village Committee of the CPN-UML in Madi of Chitwan district, Narayan Adhikary, on Sunday.


Critically injured Adhikary is undergoing treatment at Bharatpur Medical College, according to the District Police Office, Chitwan.


Relatives of the victim claimed that a group of masked men attacked Adhikary injuring him while he was returning home after watching a sports event held in Madi.



Kin of Adhikary have filed a petition against local UCPN-Maoist VDC leaders Hari Bhusal, Min Bahadur BK and Bharat Timilsina, said police.


Search for them is underway, added police.
