UML negotiating with NC‚ Maoists

KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML is negotiating with the UCPN-Maoist, the Nepali Congress (NC) over the thorny issue of the constitution drafting on Monday morning.
The disputed issues of the constitution need to be settled by today as per the earlier understanding reached at the Constituent Assembly (CA) Business Advisory Committee.
In the meeting which is underway at the at the CPN-UML parliamentary party office in Singha Durbar, UML leaders are expected to reiterate that they will not join the Baburam Bhattarai-led government until the contentious issues of the constitution were settled through consensus.
Sunday's Central Committee(CC) meeting of the CPN-UML decided to play a constructive role in the statute drafting though UML will stay out of the government.
