RAMECHHAP: CPN-UML leader KP Sharma Oli today said that the resignation of the caretaker Prime Minister was not necessary.
Oli urged the parties and their leaders to forge national consensus to save the country from the current political crisis.
“Parties have to make national consensus and form a unity government at the
earliest,” Oli said while unveiling the statue of Madan Ashrit in Ramechhap’s Manthali.
Oli went on to say that it was meaningless to revive and extend the tenure of the Constituent Assembly as it had miserably failed to deliver the statute.
The CPN-UML leader also accused the UCPN-Maoist of dissolving the CA for state capture. He ruled out the possibility of elections to the new CA on November 22.
