Temperature of the valley will go further down in the next few days.

KATHMANDU: The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has recorded the minimum temperature of the Kathmandu Valley -0.7 degree Celsius on Monday morning which, according to it, is the lowest temperature in the valley since last 5 years.


The MFD had recorded the lowest temperature 0.2 degree C on Sunday morning. However, it reached to -0.7 degree C on Monday making the day coldest of the year.

Talking to THT online, Rajendra Shrestha, Senior Meteorologist at MFD, said “ Monday turned out to be the coldest day of the winter and even since last five years.”

According Shrestha, temperature of the valley will go further down in the next few days.
