Well cleaners die of hypoxia

KATHMANDU: Two well cleaners died while cleaning a well at Hotel Top of the World in Jyatha, Kathmandu, on Wednesday. The deceased have been identified as Lokendra Thapa (30) of Sindhuli and Bhim Thakuri (19) of Surkhet. According to police, the cause of their death was oxygen deficiency inside the deep well. Their bodies were extracted by a special police team and sent to TU Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj for post-mortem.
