Westar starts booking

KATHMANDU: Westar Properties –– the real estate company of Golyan Group –– started booking of Tower II of Westar Residency and it’s mock up apartment at Balkumari in Lalitpur from Monday. The property is situated at a prime location close to hospitals and education institutions, it said, adding that it will be giving a car daily to a buyer through a lucky draw for every five bookings and a bike to a buyer for less than five bookings. “Westar properties have risen beyond expectations and the company will be completing Tower I and II six months ahead of schedule.”

RBB at Rampur

KATHMANDU: Rastriya Banijya Bank (RBB) opened its 140th branch at Rampur in Palpa on Monday. The bank’s new branch was inaugurated by the deputy governor of central bank Gopal Prasad Kaphle amid a special function. “The bank is a government entity and business transactions with RBB is secure and reliable,” he said, adding that the public should trust the bank that is providing all the modern banking facilities.

Kist Bank donation

KATHMANDU: Kist Bank on the occasion of its ninth year of operation on Sunday donating an ambulance to Nepal Ambulance Service at the premises of its head office at Anamnagar. The bank’s chairman Ram Prasad Dahal handed over the ambulance to the president of Nepal Ambulance Service Dr Rajesh Gongal amid a function. Similarly, it also organised a blood donation camp that was participated by the bank’s staff from different branches including including Pokhara, Butwal, Nepalgunj and Biratnagar outside the Valley and also from within the valley.

MBB’s new product

KATHMANDU: Gorkha-based Manaslu Bikash Bank (MBB) launched a new product ‘Manaslu Lakhpati Bachat Yojhana’ offering 12 per cent interest aiming at promoting small scale businessmen and entrepreneurs. It can be opened with a minimum balance of Rs 500.
