KATHMANDU: A 23 year old girl has committed suicide in her rented room in the Capital on Thursday.
The deceased has been identified as Pabitra Thakuri of Kavresthali-5 currently residing at Maharajgunj.
She was found hanging with her own shawl at 11 am yesterday.
The reason behind the suicide has not been ascertained yet.
Further investigation into the incident is underway.

KATHMANDU: A 19-year-old girl was found hanging in her rented room in Swyambhu on Thursday.
A permanent resident of Hellu-2, Mugu district Sushila Karki was found at around 10 pm yesterday. She was hanging from a shawl tied to the ceiling.
She was found by her husband Madan Rawal and was rushed to the hospital.
She breathed her last on the way to hospital.
Police have initiated an investigation into the apparent suicide case and taken Madan Rawan under control.
