Woman hit by bolt in Kakani dies

KATHMANDU: A woman who was struck by a thunderbolt at Kakani of neighbouring Nuwakot district died on the way to hospital on Monday evening.
Police said 36-year-old Sharmila Gurung was critically injured by the bolt that hit her at around 7:45 pm yesterday.
She was rushed to the Maharajgunj-based Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital for treatment. But she breathed her last on the way, police said.
