Worker electrocuted at sweet shop in Balaju

KATHMANDU: A worker at a sweet shop in Bypass, Balaju died after getting electric shock on Saturday morning.
Identified as Samar Mallik (34) of Kolkata, the victim fell unconscious when he got electric shock due to short circuit in the fridge at the Pilung Mithai Pasal at 6:10 this morning.
Police said he breathed his last at the Balaju-based Janamaitri Hospital during the course of treatment.
An investigation has been initiated to look into the incident, police said.
