KATHMANDU: Do you have a fear or phobia? And do you know that the cause of your phobia could be related to your past life? Moreover, if you have a repetitive pattern of any sort of difficulties in your present life like in a relationship or career et cetera, it is directly related to your traumatic past life, claims Dr Trupti Jayin, Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Past life Therapist and more.
“Birth marks, deformities, hearing problem, mental problems, anxiety and repetitive pattern of similar difficulties occurring in the present is due to some traumatic events that happened in our past life,” she says.
Dr Jayin, who is certified in Neuro Linguistic Programme and has hosted the famous TV programme Raj Pichle Janam Ka on Imagine TV, is in Kathmandu to conduct the event ‘Finish the Unfinished’ organised by Innovation Idea Factory, Kupondole from April 28 to May 4.
According to Dr Jayin, past life therapy, numerology and more are gifts from ancient time. But is past life just a myth? “There is no space for doubt about one’s past life being false as one can find solution to a problem which is bothering him/her.”
Dr Jayin added, “A single person can have numerous past life, more than 500.”
She started Past Life Therapy in 2001 after acquiring knowledge from Dr K Newton at the Life Research Academy, Hyderabad and Rebirthing Technique from Leonard Orr. But what intrigued her to follow such profession? It all began after her father’s death in 1999 when she used to hear his voice.
However, just studying the method is not enough. While going through the learning period the therapist must first heal herself to become a healer. “I cleansed myself through Past Life Therapy where I had the fear of heights and water.”
The reason for her fear was, “I was a farmer at Manasul and worked in a poppy field and in 1857 I died falling down a cliff. I also feared flying which was cured after the therapy.”
About the usefulness of Past Life Therapy she said one can find out more about one’s self and get rid of fear. “It creates emotional, physical and spiritual growth to make this life better by accepting the happenings in life instead of feeling depressed and sad.”
Furthermore, Dr Jyain gives an interesting insight about moksh (salvation) where “moksh is
only possible when one finishes his/her karmic life and returns when the planet needs them, but they have a choice how to lead their life for a purpose, for instance Mother Teresa”.
However, not everyone should go through the therapy. She suggests that people suffering from esophoria, psychiatric depression and borderline personality disorder are strongly recommended not to opt for the therapy.
She has encountered many interesting episodes. A person in present life was scared of crows and said that in ancient times crows were sacrificed. “Out of curiosity we investigated whether it is true or not and found it
was true.” He used to sacrifice crows then, thus he feared the crows.
