KATHMANDU: Youths of Balaju, Kathmandu have initiated a blue-ribbon-campaign against the "unitary ethnic-based states and any bandh and strike" today.
Scores of youth gathered at Nepaltar, Balaju and chanted slogans for the sake of peace and national integrity and urged all to raise voice for this campaign.
"If the campaign of five rupees' ribbon could save nation from the brink, why do not we get involved?" asked Prakash Timilsina Nepali, a campaigner who recently prefixed 'Nepali' in his surname to identify himself as Nepali rather than any specific caste.
The youths have also commenced the "blue-ribbon" campaign through Facebook.
