14 held for "immoral activities" from Bhaktapur restro

KATHMANDU: As many as 14 persons, including three women, were taken in custody from Ratobhale Restaurant at Tathali area of Nagarkot Municipality-11 in Bhaktapur district in suspicion of their involvement in prostitution.

The Nepal Police headquarters said in a  regular bulletin that they were involved in "immoral activities" and held yesterday.

DSP Krishna Prasain at the Metropolitan Police Range, Bhaktapur, said police swung into action after receiving complaints from locals about prostitution at the restaurant.

Nothing significant has been found to corroborate the claim yet, he said, informing that an investigation is underway.
