15 more police to join Haiti peacekeeping mission
KATHMANDU: Nepal Police is sending an additional troop of 15 personnel to the United Nations Stabilisation Mission in Haiti (MINUSTAH).
AIG Birendra Babu Shrestha saw them off at a special function in the Capital today.
The team consisting eight DSPs, three Inspectors and four Sub-Inspectors will leave for Haiti on Thursday.
Currently, there are 15 Nepal Police personnel are mobilised in the Haiti peacekeeping mission under the command of SSP Deepak Kumar Thapa.
