KATHMANDU: Police on Saturday arrested two persons for their alleged involvement in black marketing of petroleum products, from different parts of the Capital.

Acting on a tip-off, police arrested 33-year-old Narayan Shrestha with 80 litres of petrol he had hoarded to sell illegally from Dhumbarahi, KMC-4.

Likewise, police also arrested 49-year-old Daud Miya with 400 litres of diesel and 170 litres of petrol he kept to sell from Khasi Bazaar in Kalanki, KMC-14. Miya is a permanent resident of Narsingh-7 in Sunsari.

Police said they are investigating into both the cases.
