2 unidentified persons found dead, MCD urges public for information

KATHMANDU: Two unidentified persons were found dead in two different locations of Kathmandu valley on Wednesday, police said.

A girl who appears to be in her early 20s was found dead on the Bagmati River bank under Kalopul that bridge Teku and Sanepa, in Lalitpur Metropolitan City-2 of Lalitpur district at around 6:00 am today.

The 5.3 feet tall unidentified girl with a thin body, long black hair and Mongolian features, was wearing a red blouse, grey coloured half shirt, and black pants when she was found. She also had an 'ILU' tattoo on her left-hand wrist.

Similarly, a man was found dead in Gokarneshor Municipality-8 of Kathmandu district on Wednesday morning.

The man, who appears to be in his early 30s, was found dead on Bagmati River bank at Aatarkhel at around 7:00 am today morning.

The 5.3 feet tall man has a thin body, beard and moustache, and Mongolian features. He was found without clothes.

The lack of identities of both the persons had hindered the investigation, informed Metropolitan Police Crime Division (MPCD).

MPCD has urged the public, with relevant information into the identities of the found persons, to come forward and call the mobile no. 9851283032 of MPCD, hotline 1177 or inform the nearest police office.
