KATHMANDU: The Higher Secondary Education Board (HSEB), Sanothimi on Wednesday published the results of Grade 12 under Management, Education and Humanities streams.

According to Santosh Kumar Aryal, Acting Examination Controller of the HSEB, among a total of 161,458 students under the regular category, 64,567 students or 40 per cent of the total passed the examinations.

Similarly under the exempted category, 41,928 passed from a total of 129,008 students who appeared in the examinations.

The pass percentage of the exempted category was 30.50 per cent.

Last year, 49 per cent students had passed the examinations under the regular category and 30 per cent students had passed the examinations under the exempted category.

Aryal informed that the students who have failed in one subject can appear in the supplementary exam on November 7.

The exams that started on June 3 had concluded on June 28.

The HSEB had published the results of Science stream on August 28.
