KATHMANDU: A meeting of the Council of Ministers has decided to appoint Kundan Aryal (PhD) as Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's press advisor. Likewise, Achyut Mainali has been appointed the PM's public relations advisor.

The new appointees will receive facilities at par with the state-minister.

Likewise, the meeting has decided that province chiefs and chiefs of District Coordination Committee  will be provided diplomatic passports and chiefs of Municipality and Rural Municipality will receive official passports.

The cabinet has decided to extend the term of 13 Nepal Army Colonels by two years.

The meeting began at 11:00 am today.
