BIMSTEC summit in Kathmandu in Aug or Sept
KATHMANDU: The government has decided that the fourth summit of the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation will be organised in Kathmandu.
A meeting of the Cabinet held on Sunday at Singha Durbar decided to propose August 30-31 or September 6-7 for the summit to member states.
According to Minister of Communications and Information Technology Gokul Prasad Baskota, the government has also formed various sub-committees as part of the preparations for the summit.
