KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress Makawanpur-chapter Chair and newly elected Member of Parliament Indra Bahadur Baniya today said that Hetaunda would be appropriate as the capital of Province-3.

Speaking at a programme organised here today, he said Hetaunda should be declared the capital on the basis of the people's aspiration and infrastructure development.

He further said that the matter was also discussed with the Prime Minister, and hence was confident of a positive decision.

Leader Baniya said discussion was also being held with other parties to ensure that Hetaunda becomes the capital of Province-3.
