CJ Parajuli administers oath of office to Commission Chairperson
KATHMANDU: Chief Justice Gopal Prasad Parajuli has administered oath of office and secrecy to Constituency Delineation Commission Chairperson Kamal Narayan Das.
Chairperson Das was sworn in amidst a function held at the Supreme Court on Sunday.
Likewise, Chairperson Das administered oath of office and secrecy to Commission members Madhav Adhikari, Biswo Kalyan Parajuli and Ganesh Raj Karki.
Yogendra Sharma Poudel has been designated the member-secretary role of the Commission.
The government on July 20 formed the Constituency Delineation Commission headed by former apex court justice Das.
The Commission has been given the mandate of 21 days since the commencement of work to submit its report on the number of constituencies to be formed for provincial and House of Representatives elections.
