Cloudy weather to continue till Friday

KATHMANDU: The recent change in weather in the country is due to a combination of the moisture-laden wind coming from the Arabian Sea and the local wind.

These condition would continue for next two days, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

The effect of this phenomenon has resulted in cloudy conditions across the country and thunder showers at many places, the Division stated.

Meteorologist Shanti Kandel said the cloudy condition along with occurrence of thunder showers would continue for two days more while the weather would gradually improve from Friday.

According to her, the thunder showers took place in different places of the country also because the pre-monsoon activity became active. Although March, April and May are the months when the pre-monsoon is expected to be active, it started quite late this year, she added.
