KATHMANDU: The government on Monday, tabled the Second Amendment Bill on the Nepal Constitution in the Parliament.

Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Ajaya Shankar Nayak, on behalf of the government, presented the bill before the House.

The ruling parties and the agitating Federal Alliance on Saturday made a breakthrough agreement to end the political stalemate with an understanding to revise the new constitution amendment bill and endorse it through a fast track.

The Cabinet meeting yesterday decided to make changes in the bill as per the agreement.

Meanwhile, the House has been adjourned till tomorrow.
