KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chair KP Sharma Oli has called an emergency meeting in Manbhawan today.

According to Chetan Adhikari, Oli’s press advisor, the CPN-UML Chair will be holding a meeting with the party’s Standing Committee before holding a separate meeting with the Party Unification Coordination Committee of the left alliance later this afternoon.

“The meeting is being held to discuss the party merger,” he informed.

The Party Unification Coordination Committee of the left alliance include CPN-UML leaders KP Sharma Oli, Madhav Kumar Nepal, Ishwar Pokharel, Jhalanath Khanal and Bamdev Gautam, and CPN MC Leaders Pusha Kamal Dahal, Narayan Kaji Shrestha and Ram Bahadur Thapa ‘Badal’.
