CPN-UML fails to pick names for ministers

KATHMANDU: A Standing Committee meeting of the CPN-UML on Thursday ended without making a concrete decision.

The meeting was held to finalise names of the leaders to represent the party in the government.

It has been learned that the meeting could not make the solid decision after many of the leaders expressed their willingness to be ministers in the government.

During the meeting, majority of the leaders expressed their dissatisfaction over the party's decision to pick Agni Kharel as the Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs.

Besides Kharel, the UML has sent Som Prasad Pandey and Satya Narayan Mandal as minister in the Cabinet led by its Chairman KP Sharma Oli.
