Deuba talks with Madhesi leaders amid fresh developments
KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba on Wednesday afternoon held a meeting with leaders of Madhes-based political parties amid fresh political developments about toppling the current government.
The leader of the main opposition party held a meeting with chiefs of Tarai Madhes Democratic Party, Federal Socialist Forum-Nepal and Sadbhawana Party; Mahantha Thakur, Upendra Yadav and Rajendra Mahato respectively, among others, at the Parliament building on the sidelines of the House meeting.

Deuba's meeting with Madhesi leaders has been considered significant amid the fresh developments as the UCPN-Maoist has called parties to extend support to it to form the government under its leadership, reportedly after the Nepali Congress assured it of the same.
