Dhobikhola swells, water enters houses: In Pictures

KATHMANDU: Swelling of rivers during monsoon in Kathmandu Valley has become a nuisance due to land encroachment and lack of appropriate precautionary and prevention measures. Every year, water from small rivulets and drains enters houses adding up to the woes of people living nearby. Had proper measures been adopted in time, the problem would be long solved.
