KATHMANDU: Police on Saturday arrested two youth for their alleged involvement in a robbery case in Goldhunga, on the outskirts of Kathmandu.

Sunil Singh (22) from Laharepauwa of Rasuwa and Jitman Tamang (22) from Sharanthali of Rasuwa were arrested for robbing 17-year-old Shrijana Khati from Thumle-2 of Rasuwa district, in Goldhunga, Tarakeshwor Municipality-10 of Kathmandu.

A team deployed from the Metropolitan Police Crime Division (MPCD) detained them after being reported of the incident.

Police also recovered Rs 600 and Saudi Riyal 7,066 allegedly robbed by them from a nearby farm.

Further investigation is underway.
