KATHMANDU: Former Home Secretary Padam Raj Subedi lost his life after a motorcycle hit him in Anamnagar of KMC-29.

The 79-year-old was walking on the road outside the Singhadharbar complex near Bajeko Sekuwa when the two-wheeler with registration number Ba 89 Pa 4392 knocked him down yesterday, police said.

Subedi, who lived in Anamnagar, was rushed to the Thapathali-based Norvic International Hospital first. He was shifted to the Maitighar-based Annapurna Neurological Institute & Allied Science Hospital where he succumbed to injuries, police said.
